This conservation protected building used to be a “Cooperage” - the premises in which barrel or cask making would take place. The forgotten art had left the building over 55 years ago and was in need for some much needed TLC and repair.
The Challenges
Locally listed and in a conservation area, meant we was up against a lot of red tape in the planning process but we managed to gut and refurbish it (for the first time since 1965).
